Did you know that North Carolina is ranked 48th out of 50 in per student funding?

In this post I will be raising awareness for the lack of funding in the North Carolina education system. NC is falling thousands of dollars behind the national average of per student funding. This decline in funding has led to lack of teachers, poor school supplies, and unkempt environments for students. From personal experience, my parents enrolled me in my school due to my district school being underfunded. 8/10 students go to a public school in NC. 8/10 students shouldn’t have their future waived because of funding. Using the website https://www.donorschoose.org/ you can donate for underfunded classrooms in your community. Many classrooms lack the basic supplies necessary for learning. In conclusion, the youth of NC should receive sufficient funding from our government.
